Sir J. Jordan to Sir Edward Grey.-(Received January 4)
(No. 2.) (Telegraphic.) P...
BURMAH-YUNNAN frontier.
Peking, January 4, 1911,
If you approve, I propose to reserve the remonstrance, which you suggested in your telegram No. 1 of yesterday, until we are again approached by the Wai-wu Pu with regard to delimitation. It seems advisable to leave the first move to them, and in the meantime their attitude on the frontier question continues to be passive. I have taken no action with regard to the point mentioned in your telegrami No. 157 of the 10th ultimo, as the matter has not been pressed by the Wai-wu Pu.
